Narcotics Anonymous  (NA)
A 12-Step based program of recovering addicts for whom drugs had become a major problem. A person’s drug(s) of choice is unimportant. NA is only concerned with the disease of addiction and recovery from that disease. There are no membership dues or fees.

Phoenix House     (214) 999-1044
Provides substance abuse prevention, intervention and treatment services. Serves as a clearinghouse for educational materials of the American Council for Drug Education and the Children of Alcoholics Foundation and provides education programs on substance abuse to the community. Phoenix House offers adolescent residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment. The treatment is for male and female adolescents age 13-17. Phoenix House is a NorthSTAR provider. Other services include:
  • Providing informational booths for local health fairs and other community events.
  • Maintaining an extensive video library which is available for viewing and/or check-out.
  • Providing education, training and presentations on alcohol, tobacco and other drug information.
