“I joined the Council Board of Directors because of personal experience with the impact of alcoholism. I have stayed because I have seen the difference the Council is making in reducing the incidence of alcohol and other drug abuse. Though it is hard to prove that something did not happen because of prevention programming, I still believe education and prevention to be among the most necessary and important tools in combating drug abuse and addiction.”
